Hi, I'm Anaregina Frias. A professional writer currently afraid of blogging but doing it anyway. I am also a professional mermaid (yes, you read that right) and an RBT.*

Right now it feels safe to start this because I am unknown. The paradox is that I'd actually love to become a well-known author! I wrote an amazing memoir that I am dying to share with the world. I am also dying as I share it with the world.

It's called "Always: A Memoir" and it's available right here on my website as well as Amazon. It's about my 18 year old self as my world came to a screeching halt when I witnessed cancer consume my dad until his last breath. He made me believe I am destined for greatness. I still feel small though...

I am playing small but I feel huge. I don't think I'm the only woman who feels this way.

I am bursting with stories and insights both hilarious and heartbreaking but I keep them to myself. I don't think I'm the only writer who does this. Duh, I'm not.

I am so, so, so deeply overwhelmed with adulting and healing and existing that I feel like I am both depressed and ecstatic to be alive right now. I am flooded with gratitude and also living in dread. I KNOW I am not the only 27 year old experiencing this.

If you are here now I can promise you one thing. I will make you laugh and cry, and I will inspire you to do your thing. To live your dream. Get in touch with your magic. (This is the mermaid part of me speaking hehe)

I know you are holding onto a secret dream, a painful secret, and if you're a 27 year old Latin woman who grew up in the western world there's hella shame brewing inside you. Probably white hot rage too. It's all welcome here. We can throw a rage party.

Let's let it out together sister. Or brother. I guess. Men are welcome here too.

Oh men, boy will I be writing a lot about you.

But anyway, in true blog fashion I must keep this short and sweet.
